EUOakland Yahoo! Groups and E-mail Lists
EUOakland uses a number of Yahoo! Groups to implement email lists for meeting announcements and other communications. You can join these groups to take full advantage of all their features (such as accessing the entire EUOakland email archives and other online documents, and easily controlling your email delivery settings). You can also subscribe to only the email lists.
General EUOakland Groups
There is one general EUOakland Yahoo! Group available to the entire membership of EUOakland:
- ProSearch_Community: This newsgroup is the main list for Experience Unlimited of Oakland. Both job and non-job related topics are welcome, including introductions, asking for contacts at specific companies, and feedback on EUOakland itself. This group is not moderated. Please keep your postings brief and to the point. When replying, ask yourself "Will the entire EUOakland membership be interested in what I am about to say?" If not, reply only to the original sender.
Attachments
In general, it is preferred to not send attachments to the Yahoo Groups, though individual departments and success teams may choose otherwise. Attachments can be sent to ProSearch_Community; however, we'd prefer that you send links to web pages or copy and paste the text from job announcements. Attachments are not archived on the Yahoo Groups websites, and will not be received by people on Daily Digest, Special Notices, or No Email modes.
Departmental Groups
In addition to the general groups, each EUOakland department has a Yahoo! Group for the communications of its members:
For a list of all the EUOakland groups, see ProSearch Yahoo! Groups.

(Please note that it is the Executive Council's expectation that all EUOakland members will create a Yahoo ID to control their Yahoo Group subscriptions. We cannot and will not force you to participate, but the EC feels that these steps are not complicated and easily within the computer capabilities of all EUOakland members. Help is available from your fellow EUOakland members and the Computer Services department, if needed.)
